     John the Baptist lived a relatively short life, less than forty years.  The life he lived helped many people believe.  His influence spans the first century until this day. 

     Every person who lives on Earth changes and influences other people.  Because I live, there are people who decided to follow Jesus.  That's an eternal impact on Earth.  Because I live, there are people who did not commit suicide.  That, too, eternally impacts planet Earth and its people.  Because I live, and married Steve, two daughters now live.  I wonder what their influence is and will be? 

     What is your purpose in life?  Who do you influence and in what ways? What is your life story?  How has God walked with you in good and bad times?
