Dear Rhonda,
Our warmest congratulations! Your entry, "Maestro's Christmas
Orchestra Intro," in the Nashville Fall Song & Lyric Contest 2005
has already won the Directors Award and is still in line for the
Grand Prize and First Prize awards. To show our appreciation
for your award winning work, we are enclosing a certificate that
entitles you to an instant rebate of $20 on any new demo recording.
We have throroughly gone over your work. It shows very promising
talent. We believe it has excellent possibilities for success, and
should be pursued to the fullest extent. So, along with the prize
you have already won, we are pleased to award you a Songwriter

resources will swing into action, dedicated to helping make your
talent all it can be.
Every week we receive a confidential list of recording artists,

Dear Rhonda,
I'm Norm Daniels, creative director of Paramount Group. I want
to personally tell you how pleased I am that we were able to send
you a songwriting contract that could make a real difference in your
writing success and in your life. Be assured that not everybody
who contacts us gets one of these contracts. In fact, we have to
tell many writers that they're not ready for pro songwriting. So
you can be sure we mean it when we say we believe your writing
shows special talent and great possibilities.
Now we look forward to working with you just as we do with
writers at all levels from talented beginners who have just sent
in their first songs or lyrics, to experienced songwriters who have
had songs recorded by stars like Tim McGraw, Lee Ann Womack,
George Strait and many others.
The main thing to remember as you get started with us is that every
successful songwriter was a beginner at one time, but took that first
all-important step and then stuck with it. A great example is Curb
recording artist and super songwriter Billy Dean, who called me not
long ago to talk about our helping a friend of his get started as a
songwriter. We talked about what it takes to be a successful songwriter.
And we agreed that it's very important to take that first bold step, and
then keep on working at success. Most writers who fail, said Billy, are
afraid to start -- afraid of rejection, or they give up too soon.
We hope you're as happy as we are that you have taken a very important
step with your writing. And I look forward, as does everyone at
Paramount Group, to helping you in every way we can to become the
successful songwriter you want and deserve to be.
Best Regards,
Norman Daniels
